Viña del Mar
Just a few minutes from Valparaíso, Viña del Mar is known as the “Garden City” for its large green spaces and beautiful beaches. It is an ideal destination to enjoy the sun, with beaches such as Playa Acapulco and Playa Reñaca.

Cajón del Maipo
Cajón del Maipo is a beautiful natural destination located just an hour from Santiago, known for its stunning mountain landscape and serene environment. This Andean canyon offers a variety of outdoor activities, such as hiking, biking, and rafting on its crystal-clear rivers.

Santiago is a relatively safe city for tourists, but as in any big city, it is important to keep an eye on your belongings, especially in crowded places and on public transportation. Keep your valuables in a safe place and avoid displaying expensive items.  It is suggested not to use your cell phone on the street.

  1. Metro: It is one of the most efficient ways to get around the city. The system is extensive and connects many important areas. A card called BIP Card is used, which can be purchased at any metro station.

  2. Credit/debit cards: They are accepted in most establishments. Be sure to inform your bank about your trip to avoid being blocked for suspicious activity.
  3. Cash: Although you can use cards in most places, it is useful to carry some cash for small shops, markets or public transport.
